     So, I’m working on something. It’s quite the low-tech operation.
     Sorry I missed yesterday. Yesterday was a suckhole of exhaustion.

     The man in the soon-to-be stencil/shredded paper is Zarganar, a Burmese political comedian, arrested for communicating with international press and organizing relief aid in Burma in the aftermath of Cyclone Nargis.
     Brown University’s Campaign for Burma is building awareness about Zarganar and compiling a petition to demand his release.      A post full of excuses. For whatever reason, the picture I took of the drawing was of terrible quality, and couple that with MS Paint to crop and resize it … so, like everything else I’ve posted recently, it looks like shite.

you’re not that cool

     I went with Simon to see Rough Kids at Echo Curio tonight (last night, some night). They played with Boats! and Batwings Catwings, and it was pre’cool. I was not bold enough to dance through Boats! and Rough Kids, and by the time I worked up enough courage, Batwings Catwings were up. So I just went bananas during Batwings Catwings’ set with all the pent-up dance.
     So, since I was pretty tuckered out from the day (outside of the show, it was pretty shitty), I offer you a supashitty drawing of Rough Kids.
     And contrary to my drawing of them: Tsubasa (guitar) is actually Asian, Ethan (vox) isn’t as creepy looking, Richie (drums) did not look stoned. And fuck if I can’t remember what their bassist looks like (sources tell me his name is Tommy). On the off-chance any of them see this, greatest apologies.
